At our Hayden and Post Falls locations we are fortunate to have an independent preschool connected to our buildings! Inspired Child Preschool & Learning Centers are designed for typically developing children and their goal is to provide a high quality educational and social environment to help children be prepared for kindergarten and elementary school.

The relationship Syringa has built with Inspired Child allows for the younger children who receive services through Syringa to generalize their skills in the preschool setting with the assistance of their therapist. It is critical for our children to learn directly from typically developing peers and this provides valuable opportunities for them to join in on circle time, craft time, recess, indoor and outdoor gross and fine motor play, social skills, etc.

Clients of Syringa that are in the surrounding areas of these locations may be enrolled as a student if parents would like them to participate in the entire school session and the child’s therapist would accompany them to provide the necessary support. There are also some additional activities such as Spanish, Children’s Yoga, field trips, and Story Time during the year that are also beneficial for our kids to be able to participate in.
